I was feeding them the other night and the female 8" started chased the male 10" (they are 3~4 years old) from one end of the tank to the other (125gal). It usally is the male doing this to her. I have not seen this behavior before, any clue(s) on what the heck is going on. I have seen simular behavor when I add a male to a established females tank but never with a mated pair that have been together like this. I have to admit, this is a new one on me, and I have seen and heard about all of it...lol. BTW no other fish are in the tank except for a couple plecos. Is she just Hot to trott and he is not acting interested? Thanks |
