Since blue acaras grow to 6"ish then no, I wouldn't put a blue acara in a 20 long. at least not for life. you could grow an acara or 2 up to 3-4" in a 20 long and then move it to a bigger tanks. ![]() |

As Jason said, they can grow to six inches or so. Six inches of fish can technically fit in a twenty long, but it cramps the fish. Forty gallons is the smallest tank I'd put a blue acara in, personally. |

Lovely fish though. x |
