How well will blue rams do in a tank with 7.6 pH and medium-hard water(9 or 10 GH)?

that should be fine for them. . . however if you're planning on breeding them you may want to think about peat filtration or something to get it down a bit, just to increase the survival rate of your fry.

Try Bolivian Rams. Your water chemistry is 100% Absolutely Positively Perfect for them.

as i said on the other forum, 7.6 is fine. My tank is settling somewhere around 7.4. For hardness I'de say decrease it with a water softening pillow, I like to keep my gh nice and low personaly. I'de say still go with blue rams; they look nicer IMO. The real trick with rams and a whole lot of other amazonian fish is to keep the water nice and clean with regular water changes. I do 20% every 7-10 days and its kept thing very clean.
