Hey Guys,

Has anyone had one of these in a tank with a temp of 27C (80.6F)?

I have kept Bolivians in about the 80-82 degree range as well.

When you ask Sneaky what her water chemistry is are you asking what pH Bolivian Rams will do well in? If so they should do fine from 6.6-7.6.

I keep my german rams in the 80-82 range. I think they have similar temp requriements.

yep, soft acidic waters are best, but they are tolerant of most water conditions.
My personal water is treated with peat for the acidity,
so has a ph of 6.6 and a hardness of >80 gh
I have an abundance of live plants, so NitrAtes rarely move above around 15ppm or so.

Yes, my Bolivian pair are kept in 27C, Brisbane tap water (pH 7.8).
They obviously like it fine because they spawned just a few days after they were put in the tank.

Tetra Fan - the question was more what is she running in her tank.

Cool. Now l can keep this fish on my list.
My water will be setup as followed.
PH: 7.0 -7.2
Temp: 27deg
Hardness: 10dH
