Both species of rams tend to hang out near the substrate, while angelfish (which tend to be slightly more aggressive than blue rams) favor the middle area more. There will be plenty of bottom area for the lone Bolivian ram to avoid the blues in if necessary, so adding a Bolivian ram should be just fine. ![]() |

I was a little concerned because my larger angel (silver dollar size) really controls the main area of the tank and pushes the other angel (half dollar size) into a hiding spot behind some driftwood. I'm actually thinking of moving up to a 72g. My Scapes |

There's a bit of chasing between the Bolivians (they're both males) and one of the angels gets chased and does some chasing. But it's all very minor and infrequent. It works well. I do have a 75 gallon tank, though, and with lots of hiding places, so there's lots of room for everyone to find some "turf." I'd say go for it. |
