Quite some time ago I saw some fantastic info on breeding Angels from start to finish. Perhaps it was on here? How can I find it? Does anyone have a good link?

My angels have been spawing about every two weeks for months now. (72g community tank) My questions are:

When do you remove the eggs? When they are clear? (I heard once they turn white they are no good).

Do the parents move with them? If so, when are they taken back out of the breeding tank?

I have more questions but am hoping someone can walk me through this. I have all the supplies and equipment needed, I just need to know what is the next step.

Thanks

hey there congrats on the new batch.. my angels breed often also.. but they have gone on a little break now.. sometimes they will spawn each week for a month or so, take a rest and start again.. i find it better to incubate the eggs because the female tends to eat the fry at night..
so to incubate i get a floating see through container, fill it up 3 quaters of the way and float it at the top of the tank this way the temp stays warm. i then cut the anubias leaf that it is laid on.. i remove the eggs around 3 to 4 hrs after the spawn so they are fertalised proply..
once in the floating container i put a little stem of elodea, a drop of methylyn blue (to stop the eggs from getting a fungus) and an airstone on very low(u can buy the air presure adjusters for like 50cents).. then they should hatch within a couple of days.. Ph must be on 7, ammonia 0 and nitrate 0.. eggs are only good if they are a clear milky colour.

hope this helps.. tell us how it goes
