Is there a way to breed a male midas cichlid with a female midas cichlid if they did not grow up together when they were juveniles? Or is there just no chance?

Sure, but you'll need a very large tank of 75 gallons at the very minimum but a 5' or 6' tank would be better. you'll also need to have a tank divider with holes cut just large enough for the female to get through. this way if the male becomes too aggressive she can escape. there's still no guaruntee that they'll breed, but this is really the best way, imo, to try.
