I was wondering if I could get any info from people that have breed firemouths before or just have a good idea on how to go about it?

The best setup would be a 40 gallon breeder or long tank or a 55 gallon tank. Get between 10 and 12 juveniles and let pairs form naturally. Also, add some platys, mollies or swordtails to the tank to make the fm's feel more secure. Once pairs form and the fish get older you should still be able to keep 2 or 3 pairs together especially if they grow up together.
