Well last weekend my girlfriend bought me some new fish for my 20g: One - 4" Electric blue and Three - 2.5" convicts.

so far they seem to be getting along fine except one convict that wants to rule the whole tank.

Will these fish be able to get along?

Thanks

In a tank that small, doubtful. You have 4 very territorial, very aggressive fish in a small amount of space. A male and female pair of cons would make that a nice species tank but even then you would have to be aware of any trouble that may brew. Are these the only fish in the tank?

a pair of convicts alone will eventually need larger than a 20 gallon so imo there's no way these fish will get along long-term. It may work for a couple months but as the cons get bigger you'll have more and more trouble. Also if a pair forms then look out...the spare con and the EY could very likely be killed.

The tank is very small for those 4 fish. As stated above, they are very territorial & if you have a pair, the other 2 will have to go.
