![]() | Cichlid Tanks and hairgrass |
milkyboy![]() Hobbyist Posts: 88 Kudos: 81 Votes: 4 Registered: 03-Dec-2005 ![]() ![]() | I recently purchased 6 pots of hairgrass for my cichlid tank. The lady in the shop says it will survive for about 3 weeks before becoming rusty and brown. Is this true or will it be ok? I have seen tanks with hairgrass before. I am going to put Tanganyikans in the tank. Milkyboy |

As far as the plants turning brown and dieing off, they really shouldn't if planted and maintained properly with adequate lighting and fertilization. Jim ![]() ![]() ![]() |
