My 2 convicts spawned about a week ago, and although the fry have been hatched for a few days, they havent been able to move around on their own, Howeverm when I came home from work today, they are now all happily swimming in the corner.

Yay

I've read that i can feed the fry on finely crushed up flake food, however, they are all sat in the bottom corner of the tank, how can I get the food to where they are without adding so much that I fill the whole tank up?

regards

geoff

I believe the parents convicts should be showing them where to get food when the time comes. I've never had convict fry but from what i've read thats how it should happen.

a lot of times the parents will get food and bring it down to the fry. you can also drop the food right on the surface above the fry and then move your finger in a circular motion creating a tornado like effect. I believe this will cause the flakes to sink. you may also be able to find a nice fry crumble. I get mine from [link=http://www.kensfish.com]http://www.kensfish.com" style="COLOR: #FFFF80[/link]. it's like pellets that have been ground up small enough for most fry to eat and it sinks very quickly.
