How aggressive are Cons when they are the only convict in the tank? Also, what is their persona like? If i kept a convict singly, what other fish could coexist with it and what would the min. tank size be?

I'm pretty sure that convicts are aggressive towards just about every kind of fish. From what I've heard, they are very pugilistic, and will kill/eat smaller fish. I wouldn't try keeping them with anything smaller than themselves. If you want though, you could try keeping a pair. They are very easy fish to breed, and a pair is pretty well behaved, with little aggression towards each other.

As for size, these fish reach seven or eight inches. That having been said, a 55 gallon would be perfect for a pair, though you could probably make do with 45 gallons.

And when he gets to Heaven, to Saint Peter he will tell: "One more Marine reporting, Sir! I've served my time in Hell."

They usually are aggresive.
To stop this change all the territories around
If you dont have territories he is obviously bored
and has taken his aggresion out on the other fish or destructs the tank.

Im asking this in response to a cookie cutter setup Cichlid-Forum. They recommended a pair of Cons and a school of serpaes, but since i dont really want convict fry, i was just going to go with one.
