Obviously this is where she wants to have her eggs. However, she has dug the hole all the way down to the filter. Is this ok or should I cover the hole? Will the filter do any damage to the eggs? :%) |

The odds are when the eggs are laid, alot of the eggs will fall through. Being down there, they might not get fertilized either. When eggs hatch, the wigglers would get stuck down there too. Try taking a small, thin, piece of slate, and put it over the plate. |
