This is a fairly aggressive species that will be best as a pair in a large tank. They could probably be kept with other types of cichlids in a very large tank though. I've read max. sizes ranging from 10-14" but I'd say 12" is probably about average for males anyway. ACIDRAIN picked up a pair of these not too long ago so he may be able to provide some more first-hand information. ![]() |
