Yes, I have MORE problem cichlids! This one's a 6 inch lombardoi that has dug in my gravel all the way to the glass in about a 1' radius, no kidding. Is this harmful? I have no UGFs, but could it be making my water cloudy, or does it mess around with the bacteria colonies? Or should I just let him dig? Thanks

Let'em dig. With no UGF it won't do any harm and it will keep anaerobic bacteria from gaining a foothold. if you don't like how it looks, fill it.

Oh, I don't mind, I think it's funny to watch He has a new habit of spitting the gravel against the glass (it's so small it couldnt do any damage). I'm assuming the cloudiness is because the tank is going through a mini-cycle now that I've added a few new fish. Thanks!

The digging is simply a breeding habit. He's digging a pit to spawn in just in case any females happen by.
