	Discus Eating plants?
gauntlet Enthusiast Posts: 240 Kudos: 277 Votes: 8 Registered: 21-Jan-2004	Is it normal for discus to tear up plants. My femal just loves to unroot all my foxtail and hornwort. Then she procceds to pick stuff of the plants. She drags it around the tank. Just woundering if anyone has had this problem.

gauntlet Enthusiast Posts: 240 Kudos: 277 Votes: 8 Registered: 21-Jan-2004	So far only tubiflex. The lfs spoiled them and only fed live food. I'm letting them get settled before I try other foods. I already tried discus cuesin they ignored it.

I think they may be looking for food as they like a varied diet. I feed mine a diffrent food every day. They dont always accept new things at first but dont be disheartened they will come round!
