	Discus and Zebra Pleco?
Veteric Big Fish Posts: 376 Kudos: 549 Votes: 7 Registered: 19-Apr-2004	I'm working at setting up a discus tank, and I'm wondering if anyone has tried zebra plecos with them? I'm asking on here, rather than the bottom feeders list, because I need someone who has kept them with discus and in that temperature range, and seen how they've actualy done. I know what the typical parameters are for zebra plecos, and that the temperature is a bit high, but that's why I'm asking for someone with first-hand experience.

Hypancistrus is one species that can definitely take, in fact seem to prefer, the heat that discus require. They should be ideal tank mates. Hehe, seriously though, this is a long-term thing, discus aren't even going to be in the tank for over a month, plants still need ordering, it's a long way off. Thanks for the help you two
