Just looked in my Krib tank and they've dug a pit, looks like to the bottom of the aquarium. It's between two pots that have a flat rock over the top, so it's in a sort of a cave. The female is sitting in it. Do kribs spawn this way or is she just rearanging things to her taste.

Never had Kribs before so any insight would be appreciated.

Mike

p.s. Do Krib fry eat BBS of do they need something smaller?

Kribs are cave spawners. I'm surprised they haven't just used one of the pots actually - or is the entrance blocked? Yes, they'll eat the baby brine shrimp.

There are 4 pots all 4" and flat rocks spanning the gaps. Lots of places for them. the pit is under one of the rocks and they dug it right next to a pot so maybe she laid then on the pot. I can't see in there too good so I can't tell.

If they did spawn how long before the fry are free swinning?

THanks, Mike
