"Ghost Angelfish"--What does "ghost" refer to?
Is it a specific color pattern? Genetic cross?

Maybe it's the colour. I am thinking that it might be white. Do you have a picture?.

No, sorry. Every once in awhile I see "ghost angel" listed on aquabid, but there doesnt seem to be any uniformity in the coloring of the fish that are pictured. Thats why I wondered if it was a genetic characteristic, like pearlscale. Maybe not.

It refers to a specimen heterozygous for the stripeless allele.

"Ghost" refers to the stripless gene. A single stripless gene removes most stipping, a double dose produces the blushing phenotype. This information can be found at the Angelfish Society's web site. Particularly this page. Scroll down to Srtipless/Zebra Locus and it will tell you all about it.

Thanks guys. I see that page has a section on Half black, which happens to be a question I posted earlier. Thanks a ton!
