The DNR are being given away ASAP as this was just a holding tank for them. Aside from that, what do you dwarf cichlid breeders thinkg of potentially having the altispinosas breed in this setup? They are displaying breeding behavior, however I was concerned that the catfish may eat the eggs or disturb the breeding. Any thoughts on that? Thanks, JazzyB :88) |

If the pair of Micro. altispinosus and Micro. ramirez , with platy fry, and possible cories breeding, along with the bristlenose, you might get some aggression and those two females might get stressed out. This tank is fairly large for the fish though, so fry survival rates do go up... Fact that almost all your fish, except two, can possibly breed, means that most territories will be staked out...so watchout for that. The bristlenose will probably give a bigger nuisance to the eggs since they are larger and nocturnal. Usually dwarfs arent the best parents and may leave the eggs at times, so if the timing is right, so eggs may get eaten... |
