I have a 29 gallon with 3 cichlids, 2 electric yellows and I think a yellow zebra. When I bought them, they were all very small & I thought I was getting 3 electric yellows. Anyway they are still small, so I really didn't expect to see any fry for months, but I was pleasantly surprised to see them. Anyway, I thought my smaller electric was sick as her black color on her top fin had faded. I think that's the female, is that common for the color to fade? Additionally, what are the chances these fry can survive in the tank? They are mainly hanging out in the coral I have, but I don't have another tank to remove them or the parents to, so they will have to stay put. |
