	FIremouth Tank mates

Jason_R_S Moderator Posts: 2811 Kudos: 2421 Votes: 391 Registered: 18-Apr-2001	your best bet would be to get some more firemouths and grow them up until a pair forms. then you can keep a pair in there with some top dwelling dithers. firemouths get to a pretty good size (6" or so) and mixing a firemouth with other cichlids in a 30 can be very tricky...especially as the cichlids get bigger.

Jason_R_S Moderator Posts: 2811 Kudos: 2421 Votes: 391 Registered: 18-Apr-2001	a green terror and firemouth in a 55 gallon is a really bad idea. the green terror will eventually outgrow the firemouth and be a much more powerful and aggressive fish. firemouths for the most part are all bark and no bite...green terrors can and will back themselves up.
