I use to have a pair of Green terrors last year(5", The female was larger then the male but they have spawn successfully and have gave me over 500 GT fry. But Recently the male die and the Female has become a widow. I gave her a 55 gallon all to herself and left her there for over a month until I find another male for her. Just last week, I saw a wonderful 5" male GT with a small hump and decide that would be perfect for her, he is still smaller then the female though. I introduce him to the tank, and the female GT greet him with a tail slap and a small lip lock. This happen for a while but then the male was getting attack! The male now stay in a corner and the female will attack if he dare move. Is there something wrong with my female GT?

GT's lip locking is a test of mating suitability. As such it sounds like your female has decided that your new male is lacking in manly graces and as such has chased him off. Given time she may change her mind, but that will only happen once your male more closely approaches her in size and can assert his breeding suitability. Female GT's won't breed with just anyone, they want a real man, hehe.
