would those two get along? according to the profile here they would get along great. They would be in a 30 gallon tank with 2 or more platies and a golden wonder killi. I know fish have different personalities but I'm asking overall is it a safe bet?

They should be okay. Festiviums are generally pretty peaceful, as are angelfish. The platies and killifish shouldn't cause any problems, either. I think that your proposed tank setup is doable.

And when he gets to Heaven, to Saint Peter he will tell: "One more Marine reporting, Sir! I've served my time in Hell."

I've kept festivums in a community tank with an angel, tetras, cories, etc...no problems at all.

Sounds good, just got him. Going through the process of aclimation right now, I really hope this works out, he's a beautiful fish

Edit : Talking about the festivum, they didn't have the angel I wanted.
