Hi all
Last night a new batch of eggs. but this morning a lovers tiff?
Maybe she is just tired of him not doing his job, I dont know but they both take it in turns fighting each other and then in an instant snap out of it and return to guard the eggs. wierd

First they face off- flicking themselves at each other.

then the female flicks to 45 deg or even horizontal and lunges at the males mouth.

then the grapple is on!

The male is getting a few marks on his lips and they aint lovers hickies.

Might need to seperate them until the chill off?

Hi Mews

Your angels are doing exactly what mine did. Sounds like normal angel behaviour, but also I don't know what causes it. It seems they fight for no reason ?

My guess is if they were like mine, they're domestic bred and the parenting skills aren't honed yet. Give them some more time and they should be ok I'd be curious to see other's thoughts on this too.

I was round at a fiends yesterday and his did it while we were talking about it as if on cue. The disturbing thing was that he mentioned that they no longer spawn as well. As if it were a true divorce situation ;(

we shall see.

Once the eggs had dissipated, which is what they seem to do, no doubt eaten. The two angels were back on friendly terms again. But boy did she make a mess of his lips. A few days on tho and its all healing nicely (malafix added)so no long term problems I hope.

I hope the healing goes ok.

When I had them my male ate a fungused egg or 2 once. The female went ballistic and world war 3 ensued.
