I seen a cichlid that looked just like nemo it was about 3/4 long and had nemo colors. I forget what type it is and im willing to invest into getting one once my tank is cycled. I currently have dainos Im going to school them and add some cories and maybe some small tetras will the cichid be able to get along in this type of envirment? I really really want this fish

Well, first of all, it would depend on the size of your tank, and the potential size of the cichlid. Secondly, I'm kind of iffy on the setup you mention, because if this cichlid gets very big at all, it might eat your tetras. Just some food for thought...

If you're already going to have schools of danios, cories, and tetras, you don't have enough room for any other fish, let alone cichlids. Somehow I doubt that it remains small, anyways.

Find out what it is and post it. Someone will be able to tell you how big it will get and what will go with it.

Good Luck, Mike

Indeed, there's absolutely no way we can tell you whether it will be suitable unless we know what it is! Go back to the store, write down its name and come back and tell us, we can take it from there.

Damsels are saltwater fish, not cichlids, and they would die if you put them in your freshwater tank.

Damsels are saltwater fish. Actually, I've never heard of a Damsel that looked like Nemo, but Clownfish look exactly like Nemo - they were the model - and you may have mistook one for the other on the tank labels or something.

In any case, either one of those is a saltwater fish, and cannot be kept in freshwater at all.
