Fish Guy Mega Fish Posts: 1091 Kudos: 1254 Votes: 2 Registered: 28-Jan-2004	I would breed them in a 40 plus and you can fit one in a 20. You will need to get a bunch and let them pair of themselves and they should be mature at around 14 months.

Back in the game after 4 years out ..

A male and female would end up spawning eventually, so you'd need about a 40 just for the pair, adding other fish, you'll need more.

acei Big Fish Posts: 316 Kudos: 291 Votes: 1 Registered: 18-Mar-2004	firemouths and africans are not a good idea. the water requirement are much different first of all. second, the firemouths will never be able to breed because the africans will eat their eggs and the africans would probably win any battles with them. that is just to begine with. i seriously wouldnt do it.
