Guys

can anyone let me know....

If I want two firemouths but do not want them to mate, whats the best, 2 males or 2 females?

Also how would the two get on with a Redtailed Black shark?? And a bull head Catfish

Firemouths are usually a peaceful fish when not spawning. So,I don't really think it would matter one way or the other 2 males or 2 females. The RTBS should be fine in with them. I'm not sure about the bullhead catfish as I know nothing about this fish. Maybe someone else can help you there.

2 females, would probably be less aggressive to eachother.

what size tank? in anything smaller than a 3 foot tank 2 males will most likely not get along as they reach adulthood.
