The tank is 200L ViaAqua650 canister filter Tetratec 200W heater Playsand substrate 25kgs of NZ schist rock stone The fish are... 6x Cyprichromis leptosoma http://www.ohiexchange.com/armke/images/cyp_lepto_mpulungu_comb.JPG 3x Cyathopharynx Furcifer(1M, 2F) http://www.cj-aquarium.de/bilder_big/cyathopherynx_furcifer_b.jpg 3x Ophtalmotilapia ventralis(1M, 2F) http://www.isabi.de/ophtalmotilapia_ventralis_kambwimba.jpg Is this too much for the tank? Are some of them too aggressive? Will they quickly outgrow the tank? Milkyboy |

This article has lots of information about them: http://www.cichlid-forum.com/articles/c_furcifer.php O. ventralis might work in that tank but not with the Furcifers. The Cyps are probably a good choice to mix with the O. ventralis but I'd suggest much larger numbers, ideally 12+. These guys are serious schoolers and, having kept them in both large and small groups, I'd never keep fewer than 12 by choice. Also, make sure you get a non-jumbo variety, since this tank is, I presume (200L -> 55 gallons) 4' long. -Molly Visit shelldwellers.com! |
