	Freindship needed?
bratyboy2 Big Fish Posts: 355 Kudos: 340 Votes: 1 Registered: 21-Apr-2004	do discus need to have another discus to live for along time? ive had my discus by herself for about 2 months now because her mate died from a terrible disease. is she going to be fine until i can get another in november/december? also she really only comes out when its dark or when its feeding time is this normal? she shares a cave with a rainbow shark but they come out together like they were mates. is she confused?

One minute she has a partner then he's gone. I'm sure she will be ok untill you can get her another "friend". Like most of us discus like company, as long as she is eating I wouldn't worry too much. Is her colour ok? Are her fins extended? If so she's fine. Let us know how she's doing.

I would not want my fish all alone in a tank, I would get something else in there. brac
