After my 2 silver angels laid their last clutch of eggs... (which was unsuccessful) they have been non stop fighting almost all day every day!(for almost 2 weeks) This is in a 60 gallon tank! What is going on? The fights are not causing major damages to the fish themselves.. but i can see the wear on their mouths from doing the lock jaw fight type thing! Indeed it is the male who is doing all the fighting..the poor female just tries to hide...what is happening.. and what can I do?]:|

It might be that the male wants to spawn, and the female is refusing to. Sometimes that will happen, and the male will pester the female almost endlessly. Is there another tank you can put one of them in, until the male calms down? Otherwise, I don't really know what can be done.

My other tank that would be large enough is full.. aka see profile.. plus there are 2 other angels in that one so It wont work! I dont think this is a pester to spawn... neither show breeding tubes.. which are always present when breeding is to occur
