i recently gave my green severums to my gf's lil bro... I just cam over to visit only to find a rock covered in eggs!!!! damn things wouldn't breed in my tank but in his!!!! how long b4 they hatch??? do they eat their young?? he... err we need to know hehe!!!

I've never had my Severums breed, I don't think I have a pair, but a friend of mine did and hers ate the eggs every time. I would assume, like other cichlids, it all depends on the individual fish and tankmates

As far as hatching, probably similar to Angels. A day to hatch into wigglers and free swimming 5 or so days later.

That sorta stinks if you were trying to get them to breed when you had them.

yeah it was! well...lets hope these guys don't eat the eggs! i didn't know that they were a pair either lol
