lately my petlands have been getting in some nice looking green terrors. nicely colored. and they also have smaller ones that look kinda poor. the good green terrors that i was looking at where about 24.99 each, and the poor ones were about 3.00s or in a mix deal 3 cichlids for 10. (which isn't bad, b/c they also had yellow red devils and tilpia in the deal as well).

i think 25 usd for a 5 inch gt is alittle much, seeing how i was planning on getting the gar in the same tank for 14 usd.

how much would a colorful 5 inch GT usually be.

i think i paid $9 for mine at about 3 inches if that helps any. if its nice looking i say go for it, i think most cichlids are worth a good amount of money seeing as how long they last.
