I am thinking of getting a German ram for my 28 gallon tank. I was wondering how delciate they are? ARe they extremely hard to care for and acclimate? It will be housed with:
2 lace gouramis
1 bolivian ram
6 panda corys
6 cardinal tetras
6 rummy nose tetras

thankyou!

I think they will be fine I dont remember when i got mine, it was probably about a month ago or so, but they are great fish and I havent had any problems with them so far. a little bit picky with food sometimes.

compatibility wise you should be fine, if anything it might be pushy with the other ram and the corys for a little while until they stake out their territory and then they will probably ignore eachother. they hang out near the bottom for the most part. when mine have shown agression in the past they have never done any damage and it has only been towards eachother, not the other fish.

edti: and yeah you should take your time acclimating, i took about 2 hours. I havent had any problems with them and my water quality. sounds like a nice tank btw
