Hey guys, hope you can help me out with this.

I have to get rid of my Bala Shark as I'm selling his tank and don't have anything big enough to keep him in. One of the guys who has expressed interest in taking him has a 75 gallon with Angelfish and Green Severums in it. Although I am familiar with typical Angel behaviour and wouldn't hesitate if that's all he was keeping, I don't know a thing about Severums! What do you think- should I or shouldn't I?? The tank is a little smaller than I would like to see and I can't let my Bala go to just anyone.....

Thanks for any help!
L.

honestly, I think the bala would be fine. I used to have a bala with a red devil, green terror and jack dempsey in a 125 and they were all fine together. the cichlids did have territorial battles with each other, but the bala could swim around any them and it was always completely ignored, even by the red devil.

Thanks Jason.

If I hear back from the guy I'll say as long as he has a cover on his tank I'll let him have it then.

*sigh*
