What is a good temp to keep the water at for my GT? Ive read anywhere between 70-78.

It seems they like cooler water than most SA Cichlids

Mine is doing quite well in a temp of 79°; he recently became a proud & protective father for the second time. A bit confused though since his mate is a blue acara

Thanks!

What size tank do you have them in and what are you using for filtration?

These two are in a 75g with an AquaClear 110. Most of the fish are still small; the acara is ~5" and the GT a bit smaller. I'll be adding another filter in the future.
