Fish not eating generally means that they are unhappy, have you tested the water? especially for nitrite, ammonia and nitrates(not quite as important). Are these the only fish in the tank? |

Your ammonia and nitrite levels really should be zero and this could be the reason. The levels could of risen because of the food being left in the tank, how long has your tank been up and running? was it properly cycled? how long has it been since they last ate? |

Try feeding them algae wafers, green leafy veggies such as lettuce, and on occassion even live food. I would'nt really worry about them not eating at this point in time.Just seems way to early to be overly concerned. They could in fact just be getting use to their new home. Just remember to do at least and weekly or biweekly water change of at least 20% to keep your water quality tops. |
