(sp) Do you think it will be okay when it be moved to 30g? It is small about 5cm high, her old angel is about 9 cm high(actually we bought our old angels from the same shipment.) |

I'm afraid that the smaller angel would be in for a lot of aggression on part of the larger angel. The larger angel has already established itself and is not likely willing to share it's territory at this time especially with a much smaller angel. If your friend does try to introduce the smaller angel to the tank, she would be well advised to keep a close watch over them. Jim |

She said Okay, but she does really want to keep it but, what if she Rearranged the tank's decor? And made the tank densely planted for the new angel to hide? have you got any tips for me to pass onto her? Thx R_Boy |

For the middle year of their three year lives my angels were a good 1" in height different from each other, and yes the small one got bullied however it soon shot up and reached the larger angels size and made herself respected by the male lol. However, like i said before a 30 is not tank for a pair of angels unless they are breeding and it is very tall (<16" ) |

Best thing to do would be to find an LFS or another hobbiest who has some fully grown angels and show her how big this fish actualyl gets. I didn't even realise it myself until the other week when i saw a pair at my LFS that must have been 6" in diameter on the body and 10" tall with all the fins. |
