How do I avoid overfeeding? | |
RockmaninovRachs Hobbyist Posts: 57 Kudos: 39 Votes: 39 Registered: 05-Mar-2006 | This always seems to be the downfall of me - I want to feed them as much as they want. Now that I've decided to be somewhat devoted to fishkeeping I decided to get a Jack Dempsey who'll be my friend for years. He's actually about three inches long. I have Hikari Cichlid staple mini pellets. About how many pellets should I feed him per day? |

I put about two or three pellets in there and he eats them maybe within ten minutes. If I only gave him what he ate in two minutes, he'd always go without any food. It's like he's waiting for something good and then gives up when he realizes that's all he's getting... |
