I had 3 small ones in a 29 gallon and just over 2 months ago I was surprised to to see 2 fry. The 2 are doing great, a little over an inch now and starting to color up. Unfortuntely one of the grown females died. Yesterday I was startled to see another very small fry. There maybe more. |

Gibson SG you know you want one!! |

She holds the eggs for up to 3 weeks, and will take care of them for around 1 week, and then she will start breeding a coulpe of weeks after that once she gets her strength. So 3 to 4 weeks usually. |

You really have to keep the females in top shape if you want them to continue... though the more females the more often you get fry.... ![]() |
