I have the following cichlids in my tank two jewels flamingo convict spiny salvini As well as three clown loaches, two plecos and a raphael. I feed them about ten times a week with a combination of flakes, pellets, shrimp, blood worms, sinking pellets and grubs (not all at once). |

As a result I have fat jewels growing at an alarming rate. |

Try different ways to feed them, maybe scooping up a cup of tank water and placing the food in the cup so when you dump the cup the food spreads thru the tank and doesn't just stay on the surface. |

This helps me get the best growth and health out of them, and fry growth is about ten times as fast as before this policy, with the same temperature, water changes, space, etc. -Molly Visit shelldwellers.com! |
