i've jus got a very small acei(abt 5-6cm) from da LFS few days ago.. wondering how to tell its sex?

Male and female fish of this species have almost identical markings, and look very similar. However, adult males tend to have brighter colors, and they also grow five centimeters or so longer. It is very difficult to sex these fish as juveniles, though.
