In a 20 you could go with a larger, less common shellie, something like N. caudopunctatus or L. boulangeri, or you could keep more of a smaller shellie, like a nice little colony of L. multifasciatus or a harem of L. ocellatus "gold". Of course, allow me to cast my vote (not that I get a vote in your tank, but ...) for a wonderful, oft-overlooked species, N. similis: ![]() -Molly Visit shelldwellers.com! |

Similis sure are pretty, but don't count out multifasciatus which is a tad more common in at the LFS. In a 15 long or especially a 20 long (no need to go with a high tank for shellies) you could get two pair of brevis in there (start with 6 and they should be fine after they pair up). Have fun!
