How many shellies do you think I can fit in a 20 gallon long? Demensions: 30" long x 12 3/4" high x 12 1/4" deep. Please tell me! I LOVE shellies!!!

I'd say you could go with a trio (1m/2f) of ocellatus or a quintet (1m/4f) of multies. I'm not sure what Tangs you could put in there to fill the upper level.

I couldn't say. I've never seen them in any LFS so I've never looked into them.

I would say it is too small for Paracyprichromis nigripinnis. They like to be in numbers and the tank isn't big enough for a sufficeint number. Plus all Paracyprichromis nigripinnis I have seen use the entire water column not just the top

Definitely. Ocellatus are often kept in species tanks. If you're lucky they'll fill the tank with fry anyways.
