They are around 1.5 to 2 inches. My question is, Two of the convicts ( 1 is pink 1 is black, dont think it matters though right?) are constantly chasing each other and fighting. Not like fin ripping fighting, just chasing and occasionally mouth to mouth stuff. They are always around each other, and they usually chase the other 2 around the tank too. So I was just wondering if maybe they are a pair, or just dont like each other? Thanks PS I am watching them now, and they started digging at the gravel together on the side of a plastic Rock decoration. heaven2![]() Mega Fish Posts: 1065 Votes: 0 Registered: 10-Jun-2002 ![]() | Digging together beside structure sounds like prespawning behavior to me. Convicts can breed at quite a small size. Make sure there are lots of hidey holes for the other fish to escape into. |
