Do Jack Dempsys have the same problem with Zebra Danios that Lions have when trying to catch Zebras? I have a few Danios that i have given to my JD and he seems to not be very interestd in eating them.

JD's are really not great predators from my experience. However given time you will soon find that the Danio's will disappear.

By all means marry; if you get a good wife, you'll be happy. If you get a bad one, you'll become a philosopher.

The jd will probably wait to make off with the danios when they are resting or if they get curious and too close. Danios are too fast for most fish to catch while they are awake and active. Danios don't make the best feeders for that reason. Chances are they will eventually disapear especially overnight but you probably won't see the jd chasing and catching them. If you wanted something live you could watch him eat you'd be better off breeding your own guppies. Live food of that sort carries a large risk of illness if you don't quarantine for a good amount of time or breed your own.

I think I’m just going to continue to feed him pellets until there are no danios left and then take it from there. I figure if he real wants some live food that he will take it.
