I have a few Keyholes in a community tank and they have placed eggs on the same piece of driftwood 4 times...they defend them and in two days they are gone. Does anyone think they are eating them themselves?

what other fish r in the tank?
it is possible that they do eat the eggs themselves or knock them off for the others to eat

I have some albino tiger barbs, a couple gouramis, some red eyed tetra, three guppies and a red finned shark. I dont know if they would ever survive in there anyway if they did make it

I could see a lot of them fish eating them, if ya could remove them to a 10g breeding tank and put in the breeding tank water from the current tank, the log they lay on and same substrate and try and keep the current the same then I would see no problem that they would survive in that tank and fry would survive up to full adults
