I saw the other day a cichlid called a King Kong. Can anyone tell me what the hell this is????

Asian Hybrid fish...over $100 per fish. Very ugly...and they have artifical colours.

Your both right, it's a hybrid fish, which is a larger and bulkier red parrot cichlid.

Is there anything you'd like to know about them?

king kong is from what i know not a new type of fish, but a parrot, it can also be a flower horn.

Basically it when two different species of Cichlid breed and thy create a breed of a bit of both from parents, then people often make up names for them and add dye if they are "boring" colours and sell them for a lot of money saying they rare and un educated people love the colour whjich is told to be natural by LFS staff

Yea ive seen king kong parrots before, they didnt look any diffrent than other parrots to me.
