My Kribs spawned last week and I have about thirty fry that the mom and dad are protecting... They are so cool to watch!

No, they are alive and thriving. They forage the bottom looking for food and when the mother isn't above them to protect them, they lie still on the bottom to cammoflage themselves. Its really fascinating to watch.

Thanks Theresa! I am hoping some survive. There are lots of preditors in the tank, but the mom and dad seem to be doing a pretty good job protecting them. Time will tell...

Thanks, but to be honest, I took about 25 pictures and only got about 5 that are worth even looking at!

I use an Olympus Stylus digital camera and put it on the highest resolution. I have found that going without a flash is best, but it means you need a steady hand or a tripod...

Truth be told, I haven't fed them anything more than the flake food I feed the rest of the fish in the tank. They basically get the second helpings that the big fish at the top send spiraling down to them. They have been foraging off the floor and plants for over a week now...

Any sugestions? Or can I let them fend for themselves?
