Rainbow cichlids? bolivian ram? if this is the case its prolly not a good idea as the bolivians are rather timid and kribs can get violent when breeding. if its just a solo krib or all females then there shouldnt be an issue.

another possability is tank size. of course in a very large tank this would be possable. figure a 2ftx2ft territory for a breeding krib. would require plenty of plants for cover.

Kribensis are African's & Rams are South American's, so i wouldn't mix them together, due to their different water parameters.

the problem with that is there is no solid answer when it comes to stocking cichlids. what works for one person may not work for another. there are too many variables to consider such as tank size, water parameters, tankmates, individual fish personality etc.

I couldn't agree more Jason.
I have 2 rainbow cichlids and I've never had a problem with them and other fish and that includes rams. My sister also has a couple and they are the same. I've never had kribs so I can't really comment on them but I would guess that you might have problems in a tank any less than a 4ft.
